Seamanship & Navigation Theory Courses

Here at Ulster Sailing School we offer a range of RYA shorebased courses which are designed to complement the various RYA practical sailing courses.

There are various time scales for these courses, from three weekend sessions or an intensive five day course, to evening classes run over two terms.

In order to improve your chances of success, we recommend you do some background study as well. Before and during the course, as this will aid your speed of learning and ultimately make the course more enjoyable for you.
