| Ulster Sailing School offer a variety of mile building
cruises throughout the year. These are ideal for spending more time
afloat, and for sailors wanting to venture further off the beaten track.
Typical mile builders see us sailing to
such locations as:
- West coast of Scotland
- Hebrides
- North and East coast of Ireland
- Isle of Man
- Wales
- Rathlin Island
On longer legs of the passage you will be expected to take part in a watch
system. Helping to sail the boat and keep watch during night and day.
You will also have the opportunity to do passage planning for various
legs of the trip, or if you prefer our instructor will do all the navigation
for you.
These longer trips are ideal to get a couple of qualifying passages in your
log books for those of you wishing to gain your Yachtmaster Offshore
certificate. Or maybe just to gain additional experience and seatime.
You can also complete your Day Skipper or Coastal Skipper practical
courses during one of these cruises if you wish.
